Who looks after your information
Revamp Station operates NET, a ministry resource library and learning platform for churches, ministries and individuals in India. This notice covers the public site, applications, member accounts, learning and support.
We use information to provide the service you request, administer your church’s access and protect the platform. We do not sell personal information or use your learning activity for advertising. Church membership and written reflections can reveal personal beliefs; share only what is needed for your learning.
What we collect and why
Applications include your name, email, phone, church or ministry name, location, organisation type and size, how you heard about NET and your reason for joining. NET administrators use these details to review eligibility, contact you and keep a record of the decision.
Your WhatsApp number is used to sign you in with a one-time code sent on WhatsApp, and to recognise you when you join through a church or ministry link. Codes are delivered through our messaging provider and WhatsApp (Meta); they receive your number and the code, not your learning records. We keep your number on your account and limit how often codes can be requested.
Your church administrator may provide your name and email to invite you. Your account includes your church, role, account status, profile details and sign-in information. We use these to invite you, authenticate you, manage access and help with account problems. Passwords are handled by our authentication service; staff cannot read your password.
Ministries on NET (for example a conference or Bible school you attended) may invite you, or you may join them through their link. Your membership records the ministry, your role, the groups you are in and the years you attended. A church or ministry administrator may upload a list of names, phone numbers and emails to send invitations; they must only include people who agreed to be contacted, and you can decline. Events record their schedule, audience and links; recordings and follow-up courses are shown to the event's audience.
Learning records include assignments, due dates, enrolments, lesson progress, quiz attempts and answers, written submissions, grades, feedback and certificates. We use them to deliver courses, resume learning, assess work, report progress and issue or verify certificates. Collections contain the resources and notes you choose to share within your church.
We record events such as sign-ins, resource views and downloads, library searches and course activity to operate NET, understand resource use and investigate problems. Security and delivery records may include IP addresses or derived rate-limit identifiers, session details, times and technical errors. Contact messages include the name, email, subject and message you submit so the NET team can respond.
Who can see what
You can see your own profile, learning, results, notifications and certificates, and the resources and church collections available to your account. Other ordinary members do not have access to your private learning records.
Church administrators can see their own members’ names, contact details, account status, assignments, course progress, scores, completion and relevant activity. They can invite members and manage access. Their activity screens do not show members’ library search text or written answers. Shared collection notes are visible to authorised people in the same church.
Ministry administrators can see their own members' names, contact details, groups, attended years and progress on that ministry's courses. They cannot see your church's other activity or your progress on other ministries' content. When a church member uses a ministry's open content, the ministry sees only totals, never names. Churches can ask a ministry for its members-only content; the ministry decides, and the request shares only what the church chose to send.
NET administrators manage applications, churches, people and platform operations. NET editors manage content and review learning submissions, including written answers and feedback; their access does not include the church and people directories. Authorised staff and technical support may access information when needed to provide support, secure the service or meet a legal obligation.
Anyone who has a complete certificate number or verification link can check the holder’s name, church, course and completion date. Verification does not reveal contact details, answers or grades. Share your certificate link only with people you want to see those details.
Service providers and external resources
NET uses providers for hosting, database storage, authentication, file storage and transactional email. They process information needed to provide those services. Provider infrastructure may be outside India; applicable legal restrictions on transfers must be respected. Contact NET for information about providers handling your data.
Videos load from YouTube when you choose to load the player. External websites and video services receive connection information and apply their own privacy terms. A link from NET does not give those providers access to your NET account or learning records.
We may disclose information where law requires it, to respond to a lawful request, or to protect people and the service. We limit disclosure to what is needed for that purpose.
Cookies and your device
Essential cookies keep you signed in. Browser storage may remember interface choices and temporarily hold unsent quiz drafts or lesson progress so work can be retried after a connection problem. Clear this storage or sign out when using a shared device; clearing it may remove work that has not reached NET. NET does not use advertising cookies.
How long information is kept
Account and church records are kept while needed to provide and administer access. Learning records support continued learning, assessment, church reporting and certificate verification. Application decisions help us handle follow-up requests; support correspondence and security records are kept while needed to resolve enquiries, prevent abuse or meet legal requirements.
Deactivating an account stops access; it does not automatically erase learning history. Request closure or deletion through the contact below. We review what can be erased or anonymised and explain any information that must be kept, its purpose and the applicable retention period. Backups and provider records may take additional time to expire under their retention arrangements. We do not promise immediate deletion from every backup.
Your choices and requests
You may ask NET for a summary of information held about you and how it is used or shared, request correction or completion, request erasure, withdraw consent for a specified use, or ask how to nominate someone to act if you die or become incapable. These requests reflect the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023; statutory rights and procedures apply as the relevant provisions take effect.
Use the contact below, identify your account and describe your request. Do not send your password or identity documents in the initial message. We may ask for proportionate proof of identity before disclosing or changing records. You can edit your name and phone in Your account; contact NET for other corrections.
Withdrawing consent does not undo earlier lawful processing. If information is necessary to provide account access, assessment or a certificate, withdrawing it may prevent that part of the service. We will explain the effect and any lawful reason for keeping a limited record.
Privacy questions and grievances
Contact the NET privacy team using the email or contact form below. Put “Privacy request” or “Privacy grievance” in the subject and explain what happened. We will acknowledge the request, review it and explain our response, aiming to resolve it within 30 days and within any applicable legal deadline.
If the response does not resolve your concern, ask NET to review it again. Where the relevant provisions and complaint procedures are in force, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India after using NET’s grievance process. This notice does not limit rights available under applicable law.
Children and information about other people
NET accounts are intended for adults aged 18 or older. Church administrators must not create accounts for children. NET does not currently offer a parental-consent account process. Tell us if a child’s information has been submitted so we can restrict access and arrange appropriate deletion or other action.
Avoid including other people’s personal stories, contact details or sensitive information in written answers, collection notes or support messages. Only provide another person’s details when you are authorised and have told them how NET will use them.
Security and changes to this notice
NET uses access controls and private storage to limit who can read account and learning information. Keep your sign-in details private and tell NET promptly if you suspect misuse. We investigate incidents and notify affected people and authorities where required by applicable law.
We may update this notice when the service or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the current version. Material changes to purposes or choices will be brought to members’ attention, and fresh consent sought where required.
