A media missions movement and yearly conference for young creatives and church leaders in India
Zero is an Indian-born media missions movement. In the Why Zerocon? founders’ panel, its founders describe a vision to make the gospel accessible to everybody in India by 2033, so that people in every pin code can encounter Christian content and have a choice.
The name recalls the zero India gave the world, first written as a dot or full stop, and starting from nothing with no agenda except faithfulness to the mission. The founders call for mission born in India and pray for a new generation of young media missionaries, recognising that a phone can reach places where missionaries cannot be sent.
For the founders, obedience is their responsibility and the outcome belongs to God. They describe Zero as a movement with an end date, planning to finish by 2033.
